What does that mean?
One of the big goal of branding is to build a loyal customer base.
It’s like having your brand’s own tribe.
But that only happens if they want to associate themselves with being in your tribe.
Here’s a guide on how to not create loyal customers.
1/ Don’t give them what they want.
Who cares about the value you’re giving to the customers.
As long as you make money from them, then it’s fine right.
Only give them what you think they want.Don’t listen to them.
2/ Annoy them like hell.
Make your product or service suck a lot, then make unsubscribing from them even more suck.
For example, they are subscribed to your monthly service.
Then make it super hard for them to unsubscribe that they would just stay with you out of annoyance.
3/ Just lie to them.
Don’t be consistent with what you do.
Make promises then don’t keep them.
Misled them with false details & information.
You don’t need their trust, don’t worry about it.
Now, obviously I’m not all that serious with this list, but it is still true nonetheless.
Creating a loyal customer base is important for the longevity of the success of your brand.
And you can’t get there if you don’t your customers wants & needs in mind.
If people stay with your brand out of annoyance, that doesn’t mean they’re loyal to you, that just means they’re stuck with you.
