Have you ever met someone new, you talked with them & spend time with them for a bit.
And even though it’s just for a little while, you can actually get a sense of what kind of person they are.
You just get their vibe.
It’s the feeling of that a person you feel in others.
It’s a sense of the overall character that can be perceived, often ibn a subconscious or intuitive way.
I think brand is the same too.
Every brand is a vibe.
It’s that feeling of a person we get when interacting with a business.
Every brand is a collective embodiment of the characters of the whole company behind it.
So if we treat brand like it’s our vibe, we ought to want it to be as great as it could be.
Because we want people to feel a certain way when they’re around us. Hopefully positive.
And even more importantly afterwards, when we’re not around them.
There’s a lot of touchpoints that we could work on to ensure our vibe is on point.
One of it is our first impressions.
We can’t really control 100% how people will first encounter our brand.
So it’s better if we try to make sure every possible first impressions that someone could experience us is positive.
It could be visually, it could be from word-of-mouth by a previous customer, it could be a social media posts.
The point is to be intentional in all our brand efforts & communications.
Because really, you don’t want it to happen by default.
A brand should be built with intention & on purpose.
