Creators are the future

Written by Naja Shafiq

And the future is now.

A change is happening, people are more and more moving their focus and attention towards individuals compared to companies.

People buy from people.

People are more likely to trust influencers and creators nowadays simply because they are human.

The shift has started ever since the rise of social media.

More recently because of the rise of TikTok.

Anybody can build a brand for themselves, all they need is a smartphone and an internet conenction.

But what does this means to you?

Well, if you’re a creator, just know that the opportunity for you to start a business of your own and make a living from is a big as ever.

Social media has even the playing field.

You are now has as much chance as the big companies at grabbing people’s attention.

Sure you might have a smaller budget than them, but it’s easier for you to connect with your audience as an individual.

How do you connect with them? Through content of course.

Here’s a simplified steps to earning a living as a creator,

1/ Create entertaining, inspiring or educational content.
2/ Build trust and relationship with your audience.
3/ Monetize that audience when it’s time.

What about if you’re a business owner who owns a company?

I would say, hire a creator for your company. Or at the very least, collaborate with creators.

Especially if you’re just starting out and your company is still growing.

You should take an opportunity to work with creators with an existing audience to borrow their trust and authority with their audience.

Think of it like an exchange of values with the creators.

They have what you want which is an audience and you ask them what they want.

It could be money, it could be a partnership, figure it out.

Creators are the future, no doubt about it.

Either become one of work with one.
