Cute writing on a napkin

The other day I was doing some work on my laptop at a coffee shop.

I was having a drink & a donut while doing some design.

As I was finishing the donut I stood up & went to take a napkin to wipe my mouth.

Then I realised that there’s a cute witty message written on the napkin, which I think is a smart move branding wise.

I’m don’t remember it quite well but it’s a witty message saying, “For wiping unwanted stain off your beautiful smile” or something like that.

And I like it very much.

That simple message on a napkin really makes the brand more alive, more human.

Like it has a personality, like a real human.

Almost as if there are real people behind the brand who cares.

Subtle little details like this are really important for a brand.

It gives a lot of personality to the brand & helps more people to connect with it.

Human buy from human.

The more human you can make your brand feels like, the more people would want to buy from you.

And this don’t just apply to napkins.

Labels, tags, bags, packaging, loyalty cards, merchandise, & a whole lot more.

Throughout your brand, there are a lot of possible touchpoints that you could be taking advantage to show off the personality of your brand.

So be creative & use those touchpoints wisely.
