What will it take to master your potential?

Written by Naja Shafiq

You are not your brain.

Your brain is a part of your body.

You are a being living within your body, but you are not your body.

You should have control over your own body & not the other way around.

If you keep letting your brain dictate you, you’ll never be able to master your own body.

You’ll always be at the mercy of it.

There’s always 40% more within you.

When you’re running & you feel like you’ve given it all, there’s always a few more meters inside of you.

When you’re lifting weight & you feel like you’re at your limit, there’s always 2 more rep inside of you.

Your brain likes to put limit on you because thats its job.

Your brain’s job is to protect you from what it thinks is harmful to your body.

Pain, discomfort, anxiety. Your brain don’t like those things.

It wants to keep you away from them.

But you need all of those to grow.

You need to get out of your comfort zone to grow.

Pain is necessary to grow.

So the next time you feel like you’re at your limit, push a little bit more.

Don’t let your brain tell you when to stop, you tell it when not to stop.

Because if you let your brain tell you what to do all the time, how can you be the best version of yourself?

Master your brain, master your body, master your potential.
