1. You are not using social media the right way.
Social media is not a place for spam. It is a space for building connections and exchanging values with one another. If you annoy them with unnecessary things, they will ignore, mute or block you. Build relationships with people by offering them value through content.
2. You are doing what everyone else is doing.
The internet is a competitive space. Everyone is there to get attention. So you need to be unique to stand out among others. Learn from others but don’t copy them. What works for them might not work for you. Discover what makes you different and double down on it.
3. You are not giving people a reason to care.
The hard truth is that people only care about themselves. So talk about their problems, obstacles, and challenges. By doing that, you’ll appear as a person with knowledge on the topic and when one day, they are finding a solution to the problems, they will come to you.
4. You are doing business for the wrong reason.
The purpose of a business is to solve their problem with your product, not sell them a product to solve your problem. Personally, I think that having a business is a generous act of service. You find a problem, you solve the problem and you sell a solution.
Don’t just be a seller that happens to be creating content. Instead, be a creator that happens to sell a solution to a problem.
