Instagram is now focusing more on four different areas: Creators, video, shopping and messaging. Here’s what I think about it.
The most important point in that video was about videos. Instagram is trying to compete with Tiktok. They introduced the new feature, reels. So now, you can make a Tiktok-like video on Instagram.
What does this mean to us creators and entrepreneurs?
It means that if you want to keep growing on Instagram, you will need to start making videos. Every time Instagram introduces a new feature, they will reward those who use it. So you can take this as an opportunity to grow.
But is this change actually good?
Well, whether you think it is good or not, as of now, Instagram is still planning to push hard on videos. So if you still want to grow and be relevant on the app, you’ll have to play by their rules.
